What do we do?
What does the Bromley Parent Carer Forum do?

Our role is to listen to and understand the needs of parent carers and their families to gain better outcomes for our Children and Young People.

We work in partnership with local and national agencies and service providers to ensure parent carer needs are considered in service planning and delivery to gain better outcomes for our Children and Young People.

The lived experiences of our parent carer members form the basis of everything we do. We gather parent carer views and experiences in a multitude of ways, making it easy for them to share what is important. This allows us to build a picture of what we must take to council and healthcare meetings, and what needs to change.

We gather views and experiences through surveys, coffee mornings, polls, working groups, webinars, information sessions and conferences. We take this information to local boards and meetings, where it is used to shape service design and provision. Our approach is ‘you said, we did’, and we actively feed back to BPCF members, highlighting progress in their areas of interest.

We also organise events, workshops and training.
